When you visit any assisted living community, you quickly realize that the Activities Room is much more than just a space; it is a place where friendships are forged, old hobbies are rediscovered, and laughter echoes down the halls. For many of our residents, these daily programs are the highlight of their week. They provide the mental stimulation, social interaction, and physical movement that are vital for a high quality of life.

 

The Challenge:

While we strive to provide a diverse calendar of events, the costs of supplies, specialized equipment, and unique experiences can add up quickly. From therapeutic art supplies and adaptive fitness equipment to local outings and events, we want to offer our residents the very best.

 

Currently, our goal is to revitalize our activities department to ensure every resident, regardless of their mobility or cognitive level, has access to engaging, dignified, and fun experiences.

 

How Your Donation Helps:

Every dollar raised goes directly toward enhancing the daily lives of our residents. Your generosity will help us fund:

• Creative Arts: paints, brushes, colored pencils, crayons, sketchbooks, art supplies, crafts.

• Special Events: holiday party supplies, birthday cards/gifts, holiday gifts, outings, local events, musical events, dining.

• Technology and Games: board games, card games, outdoor games, video games, movies, music, computer equipment, movie equipment.

• Outdoor and Fitness: flower pots, plants, garden supplies, sports equipment, fitness equipment.
